HUGE THANKS to First Church Volunteers helping Cycle RE Cycle!

We had a great team of volunteers come out on Sunday June 12 from First Church with an effort they call "Do Something."

Fifteen people of all ages and skill sets showed up to help with a variety of tasks. They jumped in and painted the container; scraped the ceiling (wood) that is above the front of the building (still needs paint); cleaned up around the building and parking lot and the big job was - getting rid of the brush in the side lot. It was a unique project in that the property belongs to someone else and they gave us permission to work on the site. We cleared brush, fallen trees, etc. from both our lot and theirs. There was a small bulldozer - so they pushed everything to the side. There is a dream someday of making a trail out there so someone could test a bike on the trail.
